Botany is a branch of science which deals with the study of plants. Bryophytes are a group of land plants, sometimes treated as a taxonomic division, that contains three groups of non-vascular land plants: the liverworts, hornworts, and mosses. In the strict sense, the division Bryophyta consists of the mosses only. This is a summary of the economic importance of bryophytes in our daily life.
