This A* essay response (26/30 marks) is based on the question ‘Assess how far these sources A, B, C and D support the view that religion was the most important factor in determining whether people supported Mary or Jane in 1553? .’ This essay was rewarded for successfully arguing for multiple points. It features clear topic sentences, thematically structured paragraphs and fully evaluating the provenance of the sources.
