Lux Chocs Ltd is a business that sells luxury chocolates, which was found as a partnership between
Sue and John Grant in 1990. Lux Chocs Ltd has three retail shops in Oxford and annually they are
making a proft of £8m. In this section, we are going to talk about HRM for the company called Lux
chocolates limited, because it is a business, which has a lot of employers.

What does this planning cycle help the human resources manager to do?
The human resources planning cycle helps manager to analyse the potential eeciency of the worker
and to predict if a worker can get qualifed to the higher level or to the standard level of the work. It
also enables the HR manager to fnd out about the future workforce, that is needed if a business is
planning to expand. Identifying gaps is when the workspace is not flled, as a result of that, HR
manager will look for the employee with a right skill. Additionally, business can look at the internal
profles of the employees and if the organisation has no appropriate staf available, then the
company will recruit externally.
Do all companies have to consider internal and external planning factors?
The internal factors are the things which are already happening inside the business. Internal
planning factors include: organizational needs, skills, workforce profles. xternal factors are those
that infuence the business from outside its direct control. All companies must consider the internal
and external human resources planning if they want their business to have all of the staf it working,
then company must expand and have a lot working space.
